The Thomara Latimer Cancer Foundation (TLCF) is a grass-roots non-profit,
501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing compassionate,
valuable services and resources to pediatric and young adult cancer patients.
The foundation aslo provides scholarships to young people who pursue
biomedical studies. TLCF’s Board of Directors is comprised of cancer
advocates, professionals from various careers, physicians, nurses as well as
family and friends of Thomara.

Lifestyles change when cancer appears . . .
Thomara Latimer, was a 21 year old senior at Grand Valley State University,
preparing to explore her passion to become a pediatrician when her change
took place when her physician a diagnosed her with small cell cancer.
Although she transitioned on December 10, 1997, her legacy continues
through the Thomara Latimer Cancer Foundation.

The Foundation’s membership is open to any individual or group who
supports the foundation with financial contributions or by volunteering
their services. TLCF’s support comes through its members, individual donors,
special events, corporations and small businesses.
